Who We Are

About Standsfield U

A nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young people through performance arts, leadership development, and HBCU college preparation.

Our Story

Where It All Began

Our dance programs began in 2014 in Little Rock, Arkansas, with a mission to provide high-quality dance education and performance opportunities for youth. As the program grew, we expanded to Dallas, Texas, serving even more dancers and families. In 2022, we established our nonprofit organization to expand our impact, strengthen our programs, and create more opportunities for the communities we serve.

From the beginning, our focus has always been the whole student — not just the performer. We pair rigorous dance and majorette training with college readiness coaching, HBCU exposure tours, and mentorship that prepares young people for life beyond the stage. Our students ages 13–18 develop discipline, confidence, and a clear vision for their future, with dedicated staff guiding them every step of the way.

Today, Standsfield U operates across multiple cities, partners with HBCU institutions, and awards scholarships through our Dollarship Foundation — because we believe every talented young person deserves access to opportunity, regardless of their zip code.
