Gateway Gems
Auditions 2026
The Gateway Gems Dance Team is holding auditions for dancers ages 12–18. You don't have to leave your current team — we're focused on training and preparing dancers for careers after high school, whether that's an HBCU dance team or the professional stage.

Our team has been coaching community dancers since 2014 — building skill, confidence, and artistry in young people across the region. In 2022, we took that decade of experience and turned it into something bigger: a nonprofit dedicated to expanding our reach and helping even more young artists discover their potential, access higher education, and grow into the leaders their communities need.
Through comprehensive training in dance, auxiliary performance arts, leadership development, and college readiness, we empower young people to pursue opportunities at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and other institutions of higher learning while preparing them for collegiate dance teams, auxiliary programs, and future career pathways.
Standsfield U envisions a future where every student has access to the mentorship, training, and resources needed to confidently transition from high school to college, excel in dance and performing arts, and become impactful leaders within their communities and professions.

Flag Line
Color, movement, and synchronized artistry. Flag line performers bring visual storytelling to every halftime show.
Leadership & College Readiness
Beyond the stage — we prepare students for college applications, scholarships, and life leadership through mentorship and academic support.
HBCU Exposure Tours
Walk the campuses that shaped history. Our tours connect students with HBCU culture, admissions, and the legacy of Black academic excellence.
Mentorship
Every student deserves a guide. Our mentors are professionals, alumni, and community leaders invested in your future.
Miss Standsfield U
More than a crown — it's a platform. Miss Standsfield U celebrates young women of exceptional character, scholarship, leadership, and community service.
Contestants compete in talent, interview, evening wear, and community service categories — earning scholarship awards and a platform to inspire the next generation.
Dollarship Foundation
No student should be held back by financial barriers. The Dollarship Scholarship Foundation provides funding, resources, and pathways to higher education for deserving students.
